خواص ميوكو:
. يتميز ميوكو شراب بفاعليته السريعة في تهدئة
- الإضطرابات الشعبية حيث يذيب المخاط فيقلل من لزوجته ويساعد على طرده مما يحسن من حالة التنفس ويعيده إلى الحالة الطبيعية. كذلك يساعد ميوكو شراب على حماية الغشاء المخاطي المبطن للجهاز التنفسي . ومن المؤكد أن ميوكو شراب دواء يتحمله المريض بطريقة ممتازة. استان میوکو شراب لا يحتوي على كحول ، ويناسب مرضی السكر.
حركية دواء ميوكو:
- تصل نصف حياة أمبروكسول بالبلازما إلى 4 ساعات. - تصل قمة تركيزه بالبلازما بعد ساعتين من التعاطي.
- ويطرح كلية عن طريق الكلية. دواعى الإستعمال: - الحالات الحادة والمزمنة لأمراض الجهاز التنفسي التي
تكون مصحوبة بوجود مخاط لزج مثل: الإلتهاب الشعبي المزمن ، الإلتهابات الشعبية مثل الرئوية ، الربو الشعبي، | وتوسع الشعب المرضى. - كذلك ثبت أن ميوكو شراب يذيب ويطرد المخاط عند حدوث الإلتهاب البلعومي الأنفي..
الأعراض الجانبية لدواء ميوكو:
في بعض الحالات النادرة قد يحدث ألم في المعدة و إسهال وطفح جلدي.
موانع إستعمال دواء ميوكو:
- في المرضى ذوى الحساسية لمادة أمبروكسول .
- مع أن الدراسات التي أجريت على حيوانات المعامل أثبتت عدم إلحاق أي ضرر بالأجنة حتى مع جرعات كبيرة إلا إننا نصح بعدم إعطاء الدواء في فترة الثلاث أسابيع الأولى للحمل إلا بناء على أوامر الطبيب.
الجرعة وطرق العلاج:
الرضع أقل من عامين: لا ملعقة صغيرة (۲٫5 ملليلتر) مرتين يوميا.
الأطفال: من ۲ - 5 سنوات: لا ملعقة صغيرة (۲٫5 ملليلتر) ثلاث مرات يوميا.
أكثر من خمس سنوات: ملعقة صغيرة (5 ملليلتر) مرتين إلى ثلاث مرات يوميا.
ويمكن عند بداية العلاج أن تتضاعف هذه الجرعات.
البالغون والكبار: ٢ ملعقة صغيرة (10 ملليلتر) ثلاث مرات يوميا في أول ۲ - ۳ يوم من بداية العلاج. ثم تقلل إلى ملعقة صغيرة (5 ملليلتر) ثلاث مرات يوميا حتى يتم الشفاء التام . ينصح باستشارة الطبيب إذا طالت مدة العلاج لأكثر من ۲ - ۳ أسابيع.
العبوة:
زجاجات بها ۱۰۰ ملليلتر أو ۱۲۰ ملليلتر. يحفظ في مكان بارد.

Composition: Each 5 ml contains: Ambroxol hydrochloride
15 mg Pharmacodynamics: MUCO syrup has a quick mucolytic and expectorant action in acute and chronic disorders of the respiratory tract, through the confirmed active ingredient ambroxol. Disorders of mucous secretion in the respiratory tract are normally restored. Therefore MUCO syrup facilitates the drainage of mucous secretions and consequently ameliorates respiration , The protective physiological film of the mucous membranes in the respiratory tract is improved functionally. MUCO syrup is alcohol-free, well tolerated and suitable for diabetics. Pharmacokinetics: - The plasma half-life is about 4 hours. - The peak of plasma concentration is
reached after 2 hours of intake. - The elimination takes place almost entirely
through the kidneys. Indications: Acute and chronic respiratory disorders associated with production of viscous mucous such as: acute and chronic inflammations of the mucosal membrane (bronchitis), asthmatic bronchitis, bronchial asthma, pathological widening of the bronchi (bronchiectasis) as well as in ameliorating the drainage of mucous secretions in inflammations of the naso-pharyngeal cavity. Side effects: In rare cases the intake of MUCO syrup may cause stomach pain, diarrhea and rash.
Contraindications: Not to be used in patients with known hypersensitivity to ambroxol. Although in animal studies (even in higher dosage) no evidence of embryonic damage could be established, ambroxol shouldn't be taken in the first three weeks of pregnancy, unless ordered by the doctor. Dosage and administration: If not otherwise prescribed, Infants: up to 2 years old: 72 teaspoonful (2.5 ml) twice daily. Children: from 2 - 5 years: 22 teaspoonful (2.5 ml) 3 times daily. Over 5 years: one teaspoonful (5 ml) 2-3 times daily At the beginning of the therapy, the abovementioned doses may be doubled. Adults: Two teaspoonfuls (10 ml) 3 times daily during the first 2-3 days of treatment followed by one teaspoonful (5 ml) 3 times daily, until complete recovery. If the treatment last longer than 2-3 weeks, the doctor should be consulted. Presentation: Bottles of 100 ml or 120 ml. Keep in a cool place.
